About Red Press

so-ci-e-ty: 1) companionship or association with one’s fellows; 2) a voluntary association of individuals for common ends

Red Press Society is a registered non-profit organization based out of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 2016 primarily to act as a governing body for Raspberry magazine, the Society is comprised of a vibrant, dedicated contingent of Fraser Valley locals who saw a lack of arts coverage and events in our local community and who are committed to shining a light on local community, arts and culture in and around the Fraser Valley.

In addition to the publication of Raspberry, the Society hosts community events and fundraisers and seeks to partner with other organizations to bring more community, art, and culture events to residents of the Fraser Valley.

The Society is operated on a 100% volunteer basis, with volunteers putting in significant hours of their own personal time to assist the society in achieving its goals.

Still a young organization, the Society is working hard to gain recognition in the community and establish itself as a major supporter of arts in the Fraser Valley.

On paper, we’re a non-profit organization; in practice, the profits are myriad.

If you are interested in partnering with us, getting involved as a member, or if you have any questions or suggestions, please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.
