The Fraser Valley is comprised of a diverse and growing community. Red Press Society strives to reflect that diversity in the programs that it produces, as well as the members of our organization. Ultimately, Red Press Society looks to attract people from all walks of life so that we are fully representative of the community in which we live. Do you have a passion for local arts and cultural development? Like what we’re doing at Red Press and want to get involved? Please get in touch to express an interest in becoming a member. We invite and encourage past and current contributors to Raspberry to become members of the Society.

What exactly does it mean to be a member?

Being a member means primarily that you are able to vote at our Annual General Meeting (“AGM”), and that you are able to put your name forward for a position on the Board of Directors. Additionally,  if you are a past or current contributor to Raspberry, or are in general are doing interesting things in the community, you have the benefit of the Society providing shout-outs on the work that you are doing. Membership also provides discounts on tickets to Red Press Society events (such as Raiseberry), and potentially discounts on advertising in Raspberry magazine. Above all, membership means you can lend your voice to the shaping of the Society and its projects.

Currently, memberships can be purchased for $5.00 for one year for individuals and $25.00 for one year for an organisation. Membership for an organisation, regardless of its number of members, still constitutes one vote at the AGM.

If you have any questions about membership, you can submit your question through our contact form or email red.press@raspberrymag.ca.
